Templater locking up on Windows

Hi, We’re rendering videos on a number of systems (6) on our end using Templater Render. All systems seem to be locking up randomly. On any given system we have 30 - 170 jobs rendering and AE locks up randomly. Restarting the system and restarting the render process has not corrected the issue. Any thoughts how to troubleshoot? Systems are using AE 17.x, and Templater 3.0.0 Build 11643. Thanks for any suggestions.

I think we need to get a bit more information about what’s going on with these errors. Could you send us a message to support@dataclay.com with some more information and the latest templater.log files from some of the systems that are experiencing the crashes? Any After Effects error logs and some more info about the specific circumstances when the issue occurs would also be useful. Thanks!

I’m inclined to think the issue is due to Google Sheets sluggishness. All seems to be processing OK today. We’re going to try rendering using JSON files instead of linking to Google Sheet data.

@pbretz Are all machines looking at the same worksheet within one Sheet? How many items were being queued at once on each machine?
