Hello there. I’m currently using the trial version of Templater and I’m getting an error
(“The system cannot find the file specified”) when trying to log into a google drive account.
The error pops up when I click the Authorize button after pasting the authorization code.

@Kikupj I am going to make an assumption that you might be using Windows? Do you have any antivirus or similar tools running on your machine? If you do, can you disable it, then run the Templater installer again? We’ve discovered that some anti-virus will quarantine and delete a legitimate file that Templater requires in order to operate. If that works, you will need to whitelist a file in your anti-virus software: D_curl.exe located in C:\ProgramData\Dataclay (this is a hidden folder).

Yes, I use windows and D_curl.exe is missing from the folder. I’ll reinstall, and disable the antivirus.

Thanks @Jon for this, I was experiencing the same issue on Windows 10 with Trend Micro Internet Security. It required me to install various times as the Exception List doesn’t mean much as it still blocks D_curl and D_shell libraries, I had to “open file” every time it flagged it.

@Neil-González Have you added those to the process exceptions list? Is there a separate file blocking area that you can add them to a permanent whitelist? I’m not directly familiar with Trend Micro’s interface.
