Any experience of high-scale render farms? What could I expect to achieve in a 24 hour processing window?

Does anyone have any experience of using a commercial render farm (e.g. https://garagefarm.net/after-effects) to run high-scale dataclay jobs? I am wondering what the realistic upper limit is regarding video creation. If I have 120 seconds of video content and want to personalise this to 10,000 or 100,000 individuals in a 24 hour period, is this actually possible?
Thanks in advance

It’s going to be a bit difficult to predict how Templater is going to perform on a project of that scale due to several variables. The complexity of the project is going to be a huge factor when it comes to rendering that many videos in that amount of time. You might be able to achieve that performance in the time frame that you’re projecting, but it’s going to depend on optimization and your general workflow. I would recommend setting up some testing with a trial version of Templater to see what sort of performance you’re going to get based on the project details. Since After Effects isn’t quite as optimized for multi-core rendering systems, you may get a better result from multiple instances of AE running on smaller servers since the raw horsepower may not be fully utilized by the project. If we can offer any other assistance, please just let us know.

Would you be talking about using a product like this?:
Are there any others like this that you can recommend?

Render Boss can certainly be used to process Templater output files on different machines in order to speed up rendering! Although we haven’t done abundant testing with them, most common AE rendering solutions like RenderGarden or BGRenderer should also work with Templater. Templater can be configured to render through After Effects or to create replicated .aep files that can be passed off to other software render solutions. Hopefully, that should get you started but if you have any further questions, please just let us know. Thanks!
