      I know I can pull in PNG / JPG images through a spreadsheet. Wondering if its possible to work with Illustrator files in the same way?

        In theory, it should be possible for Templater to swap .ai files without an issue. We had some difficulty using raw .ai files in the past, but Adobe has made updates to After Effects that have smoothed the process out quite a bit. I’d recommend giving it a shot and letting us know if you run into any difficulty, but there’s no reason that we know of right now that you shouldn’t be able to use Illustrator files.

            @IanW

            Most of the basic testing we’ve done indicates that .ai files should be able to be swapped in without an issue. However, due to larger files’ potential complexity, there’s some possibility that performance might be impacted. If you’re looking to use more complex files, I’d recommend downloading the free trial version of Templater to see if it works well with you’re planning. The demo is a fully functional version of Templater Bot with a 30-day trial, so it should give you ample time to see if you run into any difficulties. We also provide support during the demo period, so if you run into issues, we can do what we can to help you in any way possible. Hope that helps!
