Possible to duplicate jobs?
-
I’m learning how to use Que, and it would be really handy to be able to duplicate a job so that I can change a few of the Keys. I figure most people would do this with a JSON file, but I’m not sure how to create one with correct formatting to be used for the Batch Import.
Perhaps that info is found in the Add or Import Jobs page, but the link doesn’t work: https://support.dataclay.com/que/content/que/getting_started/Workflows and Best Practices.htm/Jobs/Working with Jobs.htm
Neither does the “your own app” page, just fyi: https://support.dataclay.com/que/content/que/getting_started/Workflows and Best Practices.htm/Developers/Working with the QUE API.htm
Thanks

I was able to figure out how to create a JSON file from my Excel spreadsheet.
However, I would like to know how to delete jobs from a campaign. I am on the trial, so there is a limit to the number of jobs I can have (50, I think), so being able to delete them would allow me to test my template. Thanks

Unfortunately, at the moment, QUE Trials are restricted from removing any Jobs from a Campaign. This is something that we’re looking at changing in the future, but for right now, it’s a limitation of the QUE Trial system.
If you need to add some new Jobs, we might be able to get around the Trial limitations. However, we’ll need you to open a ticket with us at support@dataclay.com so we can verify some information about the account before anything can be done.
Let us know how we can help, and we’ll see where we need to go from there.
Thanks,
Jeff

@Jeff Thank you. I understand that there needs to be a limitation for the free version, but I almost shot myself in the foot by batch importing 40+ jobs. I’m working on my 2nd Campaign, and I will use that for some more testing. Right now I’m just trying to learn how it works and testing to make sure I can get the data imported from my source. I’ll reach out if I need to delete anything, but I think I understand enough to be able to avoid that for now.
Thanks
